    1. Materials Handling Work Group

    1. Discuss Materials Handling Work Group report and provide any thoughts, concerns and/or recommendations to work group.
    2. Update of any necessary changes that may have impacted the proposed delivery budget that was presented at April 19, 2010 meeting and approved at the All-Director’s meeting.

  6. Other discussion
    1. Member Library-School connections (per a member library inquiry): In SCLS, some libraries have informal delivery connections with their community’s schools/districts to handle exchanging materials between their locations, some SCLS communities have schools/districts that pay for a direct delivery connection through SCLS Delivery, and some libraries do not have a recognized or established material exchange connection to schools/districts in their area. What level of material exchange activity do libraries with informal connections experience? To what impact? How do libraries without connections handle school items that end up at their library? How does/should SCLS Delivery fit in either facilitating or making such connections?

  7. Next meeting: Set date for November meeting to be held at SCLS Headquarters. This meeting will evaluate first year of the Delivery Committee and make recommendations for 2011 Delivery Committee goals.
