Delivery Committee Agenda

  1. Call to Order
    1. Introduction of guests/visitors/new committee members
    2. Changes/Addition to the Agenda
    3. Requests to address the Committee

  2. Approval of previous meeting minutes: March 13, 2012

  3. Delivery Report: Bruce Smith will report on impact of reduced Saturday service and changes to service to MPL locations. This will include feedback gathered from the libraries that were tested and how this impacted Delivery’s work flow.

  4. Action Items: Determine recommendation for 2013 delivery service levels to forwarding to Administrative Council for their consideration.

  5. Discussion items:
    1. Long in Transit: One member library has brought it the delivery staff’s attention that they are experiencing an issue with items taking a much longer time than usual to get to and from their library. This seems to be a development of the last 6 months. There has been no change in delivery schedules or procedures that would result in such delays. The discussion is to see if any other libraries have experienced this or are aware of it happening at other libraries and determine if there are any reasons we can trouble shoot why this is happening, whether just at this location or at multiple locations.

  6. Next meeting: September 11, 2012 at SCA at 1:00.
