SCLS Marketing & Public Relations Advisory Committee
10 a.m. March 9, 2007
SCLS Administration, Conference Room E

Present: Debbie Bird, Sun Prairie Public Library; Barbara Brewer, Monroe Public Library (OPAL); Jennifer Endres, Prairie du Sac; Tana Elias, MPL; Mark Ibach, SCLS; Kerry Preece, McMillan Memorial Library (OPAL); Kim Ropson, Marshfield (OPAL). Also joining us was Stef Morrill, SCLS.

1. Approve Minutes from 12/08/06 meeting -- Committee members approved the minutes of the Dec. 8, 2006, meeting without change.
   
   
2. Discuss the sample items created for one of the subject areas (Readers) and decide if this is what we're looking for. Consider: format, message and content -- Members reviewed the two-sided flier created for the category "Readers" and responded favorably. There were suggestions for minor changes, but the concept was approved. Mark will design similar pieces for the other five subject areas and present at the next meeting.
