Multitype Library Services

SCLS provides libraries and information agencies the opportunity to plan activities with libraries of all types in the South Central Library System area. More info: What SCLS Can Do For You (pdf).

Academic, school, and special libraries in the area are invited to become SCLS multitype members. Members agree to plan together, to share library resources to benefit the clientele of all libraries in SCLS.

To become a multitype member, complete the Agreement to Participate (pdf) form. There is no membership fee. Return completed form to Jean Anderson at the South Central Library System.

First Thursday

First Thursday is an informal social meeting of the staff of South Central Library System libraries. We meet from 5 to 7 pm on the first Thursday of every month. Most of the year we meet at the City Bar, 636 State Street. During the summer, you'll find us on the Memorial Union Terrace, 800 Langdon Street. Friends are welcome.
