September 27-October 4 is Banned Books Week, a time when the American Library Association and libraries across the country celebrate our right to access books without censorship. This year's observance theme, "Closing Books Shuts Out Ideas: Celebrate the Freedom to Read," again reminds library patrons that everyone should "campaign for the freedom to read."
Posters and bookmarks will be printed free of charge for SCLS member libraries. To place your order, contact Mark Ibach and let him know how many of each you need.
