How to Check Browser Versions
How to determine what version of Firefox is installed:
- In Firefox, click on Help->About Mozilla Firefox
- Version should be listed near the top (ex. version 2.0.0.0)
How to determine what version of Internet Explorer is installed:
- In Internet Explorer, click on Help->About Internet Explorer
- Version should be listed near the top (ex. version 6.0.2900.2180 is IE 6.0)
How to determine what version of Opera is installed:
- In Opera, click on Help->About Opera
- Version should be listed near the top (ex. version 9.27)
How to test what version of Adobe Flash Player is installed:
- The Adobe Flash version is specific to the browser for which it is installed. It is possible to have different versions of Flash installed for IE and Firefox.
- In a web browser, go to http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/
- "Version Information" should list the version installed for that browser (ex. WIN 9,0,124,0 is version 9)
