SCLS is currently exploring a tool called Drupal to try to meet the website development and maintenance needs of member libraries.

Tentative timeline

The following is a very rough timeline for the project. This timeline assumes we don't hit any major snags.

Aug 2012 - continue researching configuration best practices, write internal & external documentation, develop training program for library staff.

Sept 2012 - conduct a demo webinar/info session, request sign-ups for migration, plan project queue & timeline, schedule staff training.

Oct-Dec 2012 and beyond - migrate individual library websites, train library staff.
