Handling Untangle Filtering Overblocks

• Each library should have at least one designated contact for the filtering service.
• The Untangle web content filtering service may incorrectly categorize websites and block access to the site.
• Patrons may submit overblocked websites via web form.
• The library’s filtering contact will receive all overblock reports from their library’s patrons.  The reports will arrive via email.
• Each library will decide whether or not the submitted websites should be unblocked.
• Please submit a Help Desk ticket similar to the one below to have SCLS unblock approved websites.
