        i. Cost Formula work group:  Met 2/2/23.  The work group went through the formulas, discussed MyPc start-up costs, the ILS development contingency, and costs for supporting pcs and possible increases.  Cisco is the vendor for our network equipment and they continue to increase prices as well as capping the number of GBs that can be used at any time.  Cisco is requiring a separate $1,000 license per library to allow more GBs above the cap.  SCLS will leave the decision whether to purchase the licenses with the libraries.  W. Allington is researching and testing a different vendor for our network equipment.

M. Gartler inquired about the declining number of pcs on the network.  In 2020, there was an increase of 20 pcs and in 2021 an increase of 64.  In 2022, 26 pcs were removed and in 2023 51 pcs were removed.  The total number of pcs on the network is 1322.  SCLS hasn’t increased the cost since 2014.
