a. IDEA Team
i. BIPOC Unconference – going swimmingly. A venue, speakers squared away (Cassy Leeport, TLAM Director, Tony Chambers, UW – Madison Center for Healthy Minds). 14 registrations so far. Yay! Committee encouraged to spread the word.
ii. Mini-Grants – dispersed to approved libraries.
iii. Planning with hope for the next year
5. Discussion
a. SCLS Kit Team update.
i. Almost done with the Kit Team updates to the reservation forms.
ii. Escape room kit being assembled
1. Jean will reach out to committee members for supply needs
iii. Book repair kit being assembled
iv. Next week is the last Kit Team meeting before Fall
1. Working on documentation
2. Working on kit maintenance
v. Draft of a Kit Team article for Online Update to be sent to LIS
b. Sharing puzzles for puzzle races.
i. Elizabeth - CSP – Kelly (Assistant Dir. CSP) sent out interest email to other libraries to gauge interest of shared puzzle collection using a “Generic” LINKcat record.
ii. Melissa – MTH does puzzle races, participants keep puzzles afterwards
1. Source of free puzzles Ravensburger – sends free puzzles as sponsorship. Galison is another source.
2. Laura – PCPL – how many puzzles? (500 pieces)
c. Contact form ideas: None received as of March 26. More recent suggestions to be discussed at future meetings.
d. Library visits/updates from libraries.
i. Melissa (MTH) – Visited hometown library.
1. Shopping baskets for browsing
2. Very clear signage for non-Internet connected catalog computers
ii. Jean (SCLS) – Annual Library Visits
1. Interview form for “checking-in”
2. Opened the form last week. Visits will happen between April and October.
e. Accessibility help for libraries – Craig (SCLS)
i. Accessibility Grant (many years ago)
1. Able to purchase ZoomText software, with trackball
a. Software was difficult to maintain, did eliminate when Microsoft offered more “built in” accessibility features
i. Create or find MS Accessibility Features list
2. Large Print Keyboard
3. Ergonomic kit – input devices to try before libraries to buy
4. Sun Prairie had/has(?) a kit with magnifier and other tools
5. Laura (PCPL) – using accessibility tech for assisting people with language
a. Idea for webinar – on accessibility tech

2. Melissa – Do libraries have email from USB thumb drive on their copiers? Any concerns?
a. Amy (NGL) does offer it – does not have current concerns on privacy
b. Elizabeth (CSP) also offers
c. Craig (SCLS) suggested to call the Help Desk to double check. Network is pretty secure.

A. Accessibility kits – Emily Whitmore (SPR)
B. Local music collection – similar to Yahara Music catalog project from MPL
a. MusiCat digital music collection – A couple of WI libraries are doing this, Appleton and L.E. Phillips Mem. Library
